Please don't snow!

As you know we are off to Top Drawer London on Saturday to exhibit at a big Trade Show held at London Earl's Court. We will be launching 56 new cards designs, 15 new double sided wraps with matching gift tags, our new spotty paper bags available in bundles, party bag sets and our new Easy Wrap Gift Bags. We have new invites and thank you's, mirrors, badges, magnets and stickers. So come and say HELLO if you are visiting - STAND F15

My little man

I often chat about Sophie on here, as we tend to do sewing and shopping and making  and...... together but then there is Sam . Sam is 10 and an August birthday, so young for his year but he's growing up to be a great young man. Yesterday he was extremely brave and had braces fitted - a big deal for him as he has issues with eating and textures in his mouth. But he did it and is getting on with it.

He also found out this week that he has been selected to attend a 5 day numeracy residential course later this month. He had to submit a presentation and is just one of 60 children from years 5 and 6 across Somerset to be selected. We are very proud - he obviously takes after his father in the Maths department as I'm already struggling with their homework. So a big shout out to Sam - my little man!

And a further thing to be happy about - today, the sun is shining!

Show time!

January sees the arrival of our new catalogue, new products - one being greetings cards.

 And this year we are really spoiling you with 56 *NEW* designs. 

24 Everyday Occasion cards, including a range of 6 for girls and a further 6 for boys.

32 Special Age Cards 

 1-10 in pink and 1-10 in blue

Persuaded by my 2 children who still like to receive an age card, 

we have designed a range - 11, 12, 13, 16, 18 and 21

And for those older Special Birthday's - 30, 40, 50 and 60 in red and aqua

 Every January we exhibit at a large Design Led Gift Show at London, Earl's Court. It's where our trade customers get to see everything displayed in one place. We head down on Saturday to set up, then after 3 days of hard work we return home, hopefully with a few orders under our belt.

I've been busy over the last week prepping for the show. I like to lay everything out exactly how it will be at the show, that way I know I can fit everything into the space and when I pack it all up, I don't forget anything (fingers crossed) There is of course the small detail of being able to fit it all in the car too!

Catalogues

Our new catalogue has arrived ....

 .....72 pages of dots and spots.

I'm really chuffed with how it's turned out - we have 2 covers printed one for customer and one for trade but the pages inside are the same for both. I have taken the time to look back at our previous copies and well, enjoyed seeing how far we have come. 2013 will be a special year, in June we will be celebrating our 5th Birthday.

25 Beautiful Homes

 Well it's out in the shops, so I can now share some exciting news.

My little house is in February's edition of 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine, page 94.

The photo's were taken back in the Summer, hence the bright cheery images, by the very talented Jo Sheldrake

   

And do you know what the best bit about it all is, the photo of me is 100 times better than the one that appeared in Ideal Home Magazine a year ago xx

Bye Bye baubles,

hello sunshine.

What a glorious way to start the New Year - blue skies and sunshine - something we haven't seen for a while and which have both, been sorely missed.

I always take the tree down on New Years Day.

 I like to start the year with a clean and tidy house.

 The dresser has been de-cluttered and a vase of fresh, red tulips take centre stage.

The new calendar is up, ready to fill with the years plans.

And the pom poms - well they have been given a little reprieve and will stay up a while longer.

They look too pretty to put away.
