Flea Market Finds

Flea Market Finds

Spent a happy (but soggy!) morning at a giant Flea Market here in Somerset. Stalls packed full of things from a bygone era. Items that, despite their somewhat battered state - which only adds to their charm - have stood the test of time well, made from 'traditional' materials of wood, enamel, cotton and linen: no plastic here!

Back home and some 'new' items for the

It looks a good car boot and you managed to find some great things. My local one is rubbish, just full of tasteless stuff I wouldn't give house room! I go most weeks hoping I'll find just one treasure but usually come home empty handed.

It's the first time that I've been to it, at the Bath and West showground here in Somerset. It was very soggy but very good! Next time NO children as there was a lot that we didn't get to see. The next one is in October so I'm booking a babysitter!

Fantastic blog! I love you finds. Unfortunately, I was so engrossed in painting that I forgot all about the Shepton mallet Flea! I only live 10 minutes away from there.
I always enjoy it there.
