A few days away

We have just returned from a few days away, staying with my Mum and dad down in Cornwall.

The forecast wasn't good but when we arrived early afternoon on Sunday the sun was shining and we headed over to Godrevy - a National Trust beach (my favourite) to make the most of the sunshine.

The flip flops were on, I found a sheltered spot and enjoyed and little spot of beach time people watching,

whilst the boys went clambering over the rocks and even went for a paddle!

We then headed up along the coastal path to the top, where there is a bay often visited by seals. We weren't disappointed - they too were enjoying the sunshine.

Monday was another bonus sunny day, so we headed off to another favourite spot - St Ives. We ended up spending the whole afternoon on the beach. Sam disappeared off and made friends with some other boys whilst Sophie kept pottering off to various shops. She is extremely frightened of dogs and as there were so many off leads running around the beach, she couldn't settle so kept disappearing to the safety of inside.

We ended up staying until late evening, enjoying fish and chips in paper and making the most of the warm sunshine.

A much needed couple of days off but have returned to lots of orders so I'm away over to the unit to get as many done before the Easter weekend.

I love your products and have browsed over them more than once with a cup of tea. It's our shared love of Godrevy that's prompted me to finally comment though!
I "grew up" on that beach. I live in Frome now but my family are still down there so "I don't feel I'm 'ome till I been 'drevy"!

I've spent every summer on that beach - wouldn't be a trip to Cornwall, whatever time of the year, if I hadn't been down on Godrevy beach - such a fantastic beach
