... it has to be St. Ives!
It was lovely to escape to the seaside for a few days, to blow away the winter cobwebs and enjoy the sun and the sky (and, of course, you can't go to Cornwall and not have a pasty!)
And guess what - I discovered that seagulls have spotty tails!

I didn't know they had spotty tails either. You were lucky they didn't swoop down and steal that pasty as they are such a nuisance in St Ives. Did you have a cream tea too?
Lovely pics, feeling a tad envious of you being in St. Ives - gorgeous place! And no, I didn't know they were spotty tailed either!
Must admit was quite suprised to discover the spotty tail - have learnt over the years to keep my pasty well guarded from the seagulls, particularly at St.Ives. My poor Dad once lost his whole fish!!
Had to laugh about your Dad, I too have seen the seagulls there disappear with a full battered fish!
I love St Ives - we went there on our honeymoon! Our little boy thinks the seagulls will carry him off- he's not far wrong :)
Must admit St.Ives is one of my all time favourite places in the whole world - would happily live there despite the summer crowds. A visit to Cornwall wouldn't be complete without a trip there!
Always a good excuse to visit the most beautiful place on earth! (yes I am bias!) but what a fab pic of the seagulls tail! A nuisance they may be, but I think we humans have quite a bit to do with it! Hope you enjoyed the pasty! Karen x
I've learned from the comments that that thing in your hand is a pasty. It look delicious but i don't know what it is.A day on the beach for always clears my mind, and this beach looks wonderful.

hee hee, i hadn't noticed that....is it just that one or do they all have spotty tails?
Wish I was in St Ives! Totally agree with the other comments - one of the best places in the whole wide world, ever. Enjoyed seeing your photos. I had a crab baquette swooped away by a seagull there once.
Wow - not a lot of people know that. How fabulous are those tails?
I can see you'll be very busy with those!!
Glad the printer is re-doing.
