Gloomy! Lets hope today's rain is only a blip and that the sun will soon be back, but I must confess the rain's been good for the garden and I've got a whole lot more work done!
I love your garden, even in the rain. But I know what you mean, our courtyard looks like a different place when it rains, even my lovely red tulips don't seem to cheer it up, fingers crossed for the bank holiday hey?? :-))
What a pretty garden you've got. I bet you can't wait to get back out there. I love listening and watching the rain - it's very calming and sometimes isolating.
Your garden does look great - whatever the weather. May I ask is your bunting oil-cloth? I make loads to sell but haven't tried leaving it out during the summer.
I quite agree about how different weather makes your garden look. We have some pink tinged stone flags outside our french doors and when the sun shines they look positively mediteranean. Today though, in the rain they just look dirty and brown. Shame is its whats forcast for the weekend as well. have to do some cheery sewing instead. PS also love the bunting, mine has been outside under my summerhouse and yes it does get better with age.
Your garden is gorgeous; so full of interest and little hidey holes.
I'm praying for some rain! We haven't had any decent rain for weeks now and I've had to start watering the pots on the patio. Send all your rain my way everyone and you'll have a lovely sunny holiday weekend! ;)
I completely understand what you mean. What a difference a day makes! You do have a wonderfull garden though, come rain or shine. Have a happy weekend. xx
I do love my garden. Didn't have our own private garden for 7 years as we lived in boarding schools with my husband's work. It is on the small side but it is our own private garden, which has the beautiful backdrop of the tree lined avenue bordering Collette Park.
Your garden looks amazing, so pretty :) I know what you mean about the rain, we invested in a polydome so if it's raining we can do the gardening in there :)

I really hope the weather cheers up again soon, although I'm sure the plants love it!

You have an incredibly beautiful garden in the sun or the rain! The weather is so unpredictable at the moment, wish it would settle! x

It is just cotton bunting, left out in all weather's constantly for the past 2 years. It is incredibly faded but still looks the part!!
