Today I have spent the morning shopping and the afternoon at home pottering!
My son is growing out of every piece of clothing he possesses! His sleeves are creeping up his arms, his t-shirts look like they have been shrunk in the wash, his trainers pinch his toes - generally everything is too small! So after spending a small fortune on him this morning.....
It was nice to come home and sit by the fire for half an hour - despite the small promise that Spring is just around the corner, today was extremely chilly.
So this afternoon, I have been arranging a few of my recent purchases. I already showed you the above print framed in one of my flea market find frames.
I also recently purchased this lovely lamp from Jo at Coast and Country Home. I need to rearrange things slightly but it sits nicely in this little corner.
The trolley, I bought at the flea market, sits it the corner perfectly - I need to file invoices and orders daily, so this extra bit of workspace is great. I wanted it on wheels so that when it warms up, I can move it and open up the french doors.
The bedside table is my favourite and is just the right size - what a find.
And finally, I have treated myself to a new print for our bedroom from 'We Love British!' When we were ready to move into our house after spending a year doing it up, we had a fire - the wall in our bedroom has some smoke damage and the old print just looked old and dirty. I've been looking for a replacement and think this will be perfect!
