It had to happen I guess, I've suffered my first sports related injury!
During my walk/run today I've really pulled my calf muscle. I upped my running and then sort of felt it 'go' and am now hobbling around feeling sorry for myself. See, I knew there had been a good reason not to run these last 20+ years! I now have to rest it - apparently it can take up to 4 weeks to heal and I was doing so well. I'm hoping I'll be able to walk again in a couple of days without the pain.

Oh what bad luck! You were doing so well too.
Try to keep your spirits up while you heal and then get back to it but take it steady.
I hate whenever I am out of action and have to miss my walks.
Hang on in there, keep up the healthy eating and you will soon be back to it.
In the meantime, make the most of it and get everyone to bring you cups of tea!!! He he.

Poor you. I hope you are pain free soon. Love the painted toes. Hopefully if this weather continues
we can all paint our toes. It feels like we have had such a long Winter nothing but rain. Spring always cheers me up with that little bit of sun.
