My favourite season

Autumn has long been my favourite season - I love the change from the heat of the summer to the warm days of Autumn when it's unexpectedly sunny. When you have the morning mists and dew and the dark evenings begin to set in. I love the crunchy, crisp, colourful leaves as they fall from the trees, conkers, spiders webs, blackberries, pumpkins......
As an Early Year's teacher the seasons have always been a big focus and Autumn is by far the best - I love the festivals and celebrations and of course it pathes the way to the festive season.

Fingers crossed the rain forecast for this week will move swiftly on it's way and the Autumn I love, will take center stage and be it's glorious best!

I love Autumn too! I love the anticipation of chilly nights and having an excuse to cuddle up on the sofa with a blanket - and of course living with the view of the Forest of Dean from my back windows the changing colours are awesome :)
