Handmade Fayre

This morning Sophie and I popped over to Frome to visit the Black Swan Artisans Handmade Fayre and

support our new friend Angela, who recently taught us how to make a cushion cover.

She has her own studio in the Black Swan Arts center 'Little Studio Red' (my favourite colour combo)
and organised the event for fellow artisans.

I met up with the very lovely Julia Davey again - she is a very talented ceramist and also a fellow Swans of Wells artist, so I'm hoping to see her again soon at the Swansong weekend.

I also met Suzanne, a local Artisan who was in fact, doing her very first sale - her work was beautifully stitched and you can find out more about her over on her facebook page *here*

We had a lovely morning and it's on again tomorrow when the Frome Super Market and Catherine's Hill Artisan Market are on too - would be a lovely day out. We're off on our annual family gathering to the Dorset Coast and Dancing Ledge - fingers crossed it stays dry and the suns comes out to say hello!
