More Flea market finds...

Today, another of the fantastic Giant Flea Markets was being held on the Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet. It was a beautiful morning and despite getting there a good 20 minutes before it opened, the queue was the longest I've ever seen it.

I can't really put over the scale of it but it was the busiest that I've ever seen it - row upon row upon row of sellers.

I didn't need anything at all but there were too many tempting stalls today and bargains to be had!

I was first tempted by this lovely spotty plate (from Lottie Loves Vintage) and these lovely tins.

But then on the next stall there was this desk and the chairs were only £12.00 for the pair! So the desk has gone over to the premises for when/if we ever move to a bigger house!!

and the chairs have replaced a couple of rickety ones at home.

I couldn't resist this lovely round mirror and at just £22 I ended up bringing it home too.

And then there was this......... a 1950's retro kitchen cabinet!

I've wanted one, ever since I fell in love with this one from

Ruby and Bettys Attic

It's not on the same scale but I'm desperately trying to find a home for it - it can't live in the hallway forever. It needs a little clean up and the shelves need to be lined but as it was under £100, I thought it was just crying out to be bought - not sure my husband agrees!!!

Oh lovely finds especially jealous of the kitchen cupboard I saw one once in a CS for £50 and didnt buy it - BIG regrets. Going to antiques fair tomorrow will see what it brings.

Lovely finds, I have an old kitchen cupboard like that in my sewing room, it's great for stooring all my craft stuff.
Hope you find a special place for it soon.

Wow, what a wonderful flea market, so many treasures and bargains.........

Great kitchen cabinet, I can see why you couldn't pass it by.

The lovely Spring weather must've bought out all the bargain hunters.

You got lots of nice things, our car boot sales are abit rubbish and there are very little of them. I did pick up a nice piece last week though. The kitchen unit will be lovely once you add your touches to it :) Hope you had a lovely easter

I LOVE those 50s style kitchen cabinets and one will be mine one day. My mum had one when I was a nipper but I didn't appreciate it at the time, or else I would've urged her not to get rid of it.

That 50s retro kitchen cabinet reminds me so much of one my gran had when I was little - really brings back memories! I can picture her now, leaning on the pull-down bit to write her shopping list!

I am very green (with envy) at all your lovely finds! My husband is a very minimal graphic designer and limits the amount of shabby chic-ness I am aloud in our house! So all the shabby chic is all packed into my work room bursting at the seams!
