GIVEAWAY TIME!!!

December is nearly upon us and it's been ages since I did a giveaway, so I thought I would offer up 3 Advent Calendars to my lovely followers from twitter, facebook and over here on the blog.

All you have to do to be entered in for the giveaway, is to leave a comment about what design / theme you would like to see on next years advent calendar.

I should have it already finished but time has escaped me, so it will have to be launched mid year, in time for the Christmas trade buying.

I have some ideas but I really value your thoughts too - after all you are the people that buy them.

So if you have time and wish to be entered, please just leave a comment on here with your idea or theme - simple.

I will announce 3 winners early next week.

Good morning, well as my favourite thing is Owls then you got me already which is why i'm here of course lol. My next favourite thing is crafting/baking but i'm not sure that that lends itself to an advent calender but then you could say the same about Owls so there are a couple of ideas but other than that i'm all about tradition when it comes to Christmas and not chocolate advents. Happy Holidays :)

How about a shabby chic dresser with pretty spotty cups and teapots!

Some children in the snow wrapped up in big coats, scarves, hats and gloves would be cute, maybe with a snowman!

I love Christmas fairies and think a fat spotty one would be fun. The owls this year are wonderful.

How about a scene with mice...as in `The Church Mice' in an old church pipe organ or something.. my other thought was a little bit vintage looking some skaters on a frozen pond with lovely minkee hats, scarves and mittens on them.

Hey Becky

Loving the designs you have but would also love to see maybe Father Christmas, in his little toy workshop with all the little elves working away with their paintbrushes, hammers etc. May be the first time Santa wears a spotty red outfit!? :0)

Keep up the good work x

Helen said...

How about a fireplace with roaring fire and mantlepiece covered with holly & ivy, tinsel, presents etc! or a night time scene with santa on his sleigh flying through the skies? or a beautifully spotty decorated Christmas tree? Am sure whatever you choose will look amazing! Helen at Kindred Rose xx

Barbara said...

Wondering if you could use the 12 Days of Christmas theme(partridge in pear tree) etc but in your amazing style.....

Crafts @ Home said...

Reindeer..... in a woodland setting, possibly at night with a moon? Or a gingerbread house in the same setting?

Helen said...

I really like the idea of a gingerbread house, decorated with lots of dotty and stripey sweet treats. I'm sure whatever you decide on will be brilliant!

Caroline Morris said...

I think you should do a lovely spotty Christmas tree decorated with baubles, candy canes, stars and tinsel with oodles of pressies underneath. It would look fab!

Oooh so many ideas you could do! Maybe a santa and sleigh in the snow with lots of presents stacked up... I do like the idea of a little gingerbread house too, that would be really sweet. Or maybe a traditional xmas tree with candy canes and presents, or a fireplace with stockings and holly, with santa's mince pie and glass of sherry by the side? Looking forward to seeing what you come up with! xx

What a gorgeous calendar! I can picture a Christmas hearth scene with a fireplace and a tree, and the characters in it would be cute cats, being naughty - climbing inthe stockings, unwrapping the presents and stealing the tree baubles - or looking all innocent and pretending they had nothing to do with it. Done in your distinctive style it would be something to really treasure

Unknown said...

I have found your blog through a post on Kandipandi's pad and would love to be included in the draw please.

Thanks

Twinkling Stars said...

I couldn't read all of the comments to see if this has already been suggested..but as advent calendars are mainly for children, how about children's traditional toys..so a teddy bear, jack in the box, stacking cups etc..all in a shabby chic spotty theme!

Well the hardest thing to find are items to send to warmer climates for christmas that do not have snow, etc. So I would like a design with an alternative christmas in the sun. I love these christmas stamps from the christmas islands (so this sort of idea)
