Flea Market Finds

Spent a happy (but soggy!) morning at a giant Flea Market here in Somerset. Stalls packed full of things from a bygone era. Items that, despite their somewhat battered state - which only adds to their charm - have stood the test of time well, made from 'traditional' materials of wood, enamel, cotton and linen: no plastic here!

The dots and spots cards

From small acorns mighty oaks grow!

Less than a year and a half ago, dots and spots was launched with 8 different card designs. Now the range boasts 32 different cards, with another 6 available within the next few days. And that's just the cards! Don't forget the postcards, gift tags, place settings, commissions ...! Its been a really exciting journey and I'd like to thank you for joining me along the way!

In addition to the new range of cards due out next week, I've got a couple of really exciting new projects in the pipeline and I'll let you know about these soon.

I recently started a dots and spots Fan Page on face book that I'd love for you to join - where you can get more info, special offers and jump in and have a 'chat'. The Mid Somerset Show

Sunday 16th August was the day for the Mid Somerset Show, held in the fields opposite dots and spots HQ. A traditional English agricultural show, the community, from miles around, came together to share a day of fun, food, craft and creatures - all the ingredients for English country living.

Cider and apple pie for supper tonight!

Fortunately the sun shined today, so no need for these great spotty wellies!

The Mid Somerset Show

Unfortunately, dots and spots is unable to exhibit at the Mid Somerset Show this year, but we were delighted to be asked to supply a raffle prize to the many local charities that benefit from this event.

We are keeping our fingers crossed that the day will stay dry - and if we're really lucky the sun may even shine - for this quintessential British agricultural show.

The dots and spots range of cards, postcards, gift tags and place settings are all designed and printed in England and we fully support all local businesses committed to producing and supplying quality products and produce for the discerning buyer.
