One big bonus of Jeff being on Gardening Leave is that new things are being added to the website.

A little studio tour

I'm going to enjoy spending time in this space.

It's done!

Back in January I started on the thought of a little studio re-jig, a little re-organisation and major sort out. It was getting in a right muddle and was full of 'stuff'. All I needed was a little bit of time!

By late April, with still no real time available, I did a mini move to get things started. The cupboard moved to the opposite side of the room and a temporary desk put in it's place. 

Now with a little time and and help, the re-jig is done and I'm chuffed to bits.

I've created more worktop space which was the main aim and I've had a really good clear out and de-clutter. My pigeon holes are now in place and look fantastic and I'm looking forward to spending time in here again - roll on another pocket of time for some design fun.

Nearly there!

I'm being slightly hampered by this glorious sunshine. Instead of finishing off my studio, I've been sat outside making the most of this glorious weather. But the old desk has been cut down, the new bigger desk added, the shelf moved and the new pigeon holes are in place. All that's left to do now is find everything a home (when the sun stops shining!)

About time!

Tomorrow I start to sort out and re-organise my studio

and I can not wait!!

I painted my pigeon holes a while ago (covered in a pink sheet for now) and I've been waiting to have a day when I can take everything outside, saw down one desk, add a bigger desk and move a shelf! Jeff is going to love me!

IBIZA 2013

 Last Saturday we packed our bags and headed off to the sunshine,

to enjoy a week on the lovely island of Ibiza.

The hotel was lovely, slightly on the edge of the resort but the walk was do-able and as we'ed booked an All Inclusive package, we had very little need to go in search of anything.

All we had to do was enjoy the pool,

swim to our hearts content,

and have fun!

 It was cloudy once or twice and there was a breeze that did from time to time 'get up' and made you feel a little chill but then we had books to read, coffee and treats on tap and a comfy lounger to relax on.

There were plenty of days of brilliant blue skies

and warm evenings to take a stroll along the seafront.

 But most of all, we enjoyed quality family time together!

 

Jeff got to swim in the sea

and I got to relax by the pool.

The food was delicious - and for me, the real treat was not having to cook a single meal all week! There was so much choice and I must confess to putting on a couple of pounds but hey! it was my holiday.

So I have come back the most relaxed I have in years and coming home to blue skies and sunshine has made the week even more enjoyable. All the washing is done, mornings have been spent packing orders and an hour or two spent in the garden topping up the tan and enjoying the warm sunshine.

The perfect end to a perfect holiday.

We're back!

I have returned from a lovely week in Ibiza.

I relaxed more than I have done in years.

When I have a minute, I will upload the photo's and share with you a few highlights but it's bed time for me now. Orders have been 'pinging' in so it's back to reality in the morning and work resumes.
