Sam came into our bedroom this morning, excitedly announcing that it was snowing! He pulled back the curtains and there is was flurrying down! It didn't last, of course and was soon sleety rain but it has hung around on the rooftops.
Out the front, any sudden downpour and the road just up from the house floods as the ground is just so saturated - one poor car stuck right in the middle. Give it an hour or so and it will disappear again.
So great excitement for the birthday girl who managed to sleep in and miss all the fun! Well we have to let her off, she is now officially a TEENAGER!
