...hello October!!
October!!
Where has this year gone? It's flying by.
September came and went in a flash!!
September starts for Jeff, back to school. I had the interview and got the job!! Had a few fantastic but VERY HOT days with Sophie in Amsterdam. Lovely meet-ups with Sophie and Sam at home and in Cardiff. Take That musical, Greatest Days in Bristol and 'All the Old 45's' Deacon Blue Tour in Cardiff with a fab get-together with Mel and Ade. Lots of sunflower love, fabulous walks, my kingfisher spot!! A busy old month!
This week started off with me walking to Hurcot Hill and back. It wasn't my intention. I'd planned to go out for an hour, see what I could photograph, ended up out for 3 hours and walked miles!!
All the autumnal feels....
.....and soooo many berries this year!
The birds should have no complaints this winter.
Thursday I walked some more .....along the Glastonbury Way with Lynn.
Was a grey, damp morning, so we ended up chatting over a coffee.
Then in the afternoon I met up with another friend and returned for another coffee!!
Friday afternoon, I took myself off out over to Ham Wall for a wander.
I love it there, it's so calm and peaceful.
Met the friendliest Robin....
...and Blue Tits and Great tits.
Then on Saturday I walked some more!!
Met up with Jo over in Bath and we......
......walked the Bath Skyline. All six and a half miles of it!!!
I feel at the moment, with winter on the not too distant horizon, that whilst it's dry, I should make the most of being outside. I certainly have clocked up a few miles this week.
And we got to see a Kingfisher, that stuck around long enough to photograph!. Could be better, needs to be sharper but given the fact they move so quickly, I'm pretty pleased I got this!!
So other than walking, I've done my M&S Christmas food shop order....
...and coped with the stresses of getting Take That tickets, not once but twice. I got tickets for Jeff and I on the Wednesday pre-sale, then tried again on Friday in the general sale, to get tickets for my sister. Thankfully I was lucky both times but it's sooooo stressful!
Found my first conkers yesterday.
Autumn is well and truly here!
I'm off to Cornwall tomorrow for a few days, check in on my Mum and dad, then I'm meeting my uni friend on Saturday for a catch up. Jeff has two more weeks of term left to go, before he breaks up for half term and then we're off to Barcelona!! Honestly, as I mentioned earlier, where does the time go??

Came across your blog completely by chance. You haven't changed a bit from when you taught my daughter at woolavington primary school.
Gosh! you have a good memory, that was a good few years ago!!
