Wednesday Weekly!
About last Sunday!!
After I'd blogged last week, Sophie and I were heading up to Birmingham to see
Benson Boone in concert. It truly was one of the best nights of my life!!
You know, if that night doesn't affirm the whole,
"live life to the full/say yes more/buy the tickets" I don't know what does.
Getting the tickets was a real should we/shouldn't we moment. We'd already seen Benson Boone in November at the O2, paid out for tickets, train tickets, a hotel in London and then he announced he was rescheduling his cancelled Birmingham date, and tickets were available!! I remember phoning Sophie, asking her 'should we go?' and I'm so glad she said 'yes mum, get the tickets'.

He is the BEST performer. He has so much energy on stage.
And we got to see him with Brian May again, (the guitarist from Queen!!)
'We are the Champions' and 'We Will Rock You'
It was a late night. He didn't leave the stage until after 11pm.
We then had a 2 and a half hour journey home but I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
That night will last with me a lifetime and....
.... I got to share it with Sophie, on Mother's day.
How lucky am I that she wants to do these things with me?
A bloody brilliant night!!
Monday, and I was fit for nothing!!

.....I met up with my walking friend for a good burst of fresh air!
Next doors magnificent magnolia in the morning sunshine.
The weather this week has been absolutely glorious. Consecutive days of blue skies and warm sunshine and I've been stuck inside for the duration!! I find it sooooo frustrating, not being able be out and about and make the most of the good weather.
My time in the gallery ended yesterday, along with a change in the weather!!
I'll be back in September for the next exhibition.
There has been a lot of balloon action, making the most of the good weather.
We had so many flights get cancelled when we had an experience booked, so I guess they are trying to squeeze in as many as possible. There were four over the Tor this morning!!
I forgot to mention Sam!
On Tuesday he had stage two of an interview process, and this coming week he is through to the final stage!! I have everything crossed for him. All these job applications are so lengthy, involving so many different stages. It's really tough for them. All he wants to do, is live in Bristol, earning enough money to support this! Personally, I think he should go and travel. See what excites him, what motivates him, what gets him up in the morning, as he has no real idea of what he'd like to do. Jeff on the other hand, is keen for him to find a Graduate job, see him start earning some proper money. At he end of the day it will be what it will be, and as long as he's happy, healthy, and able to be independent, I don't mind what he does. Thankfully, Jeff has kept his old suits and they fit Sam!
So, with my time in the gallery over, I am a free agent this coming week. I'm actually off to Cornwall for a few days to see my mum and dad, leaving the boys to it!! I'll be back in time for Sam's interview and Jeff's birthday. I haven't been down to Cornwall since October, so I'm due a dollop of Cornish air, pasties, yeast buns, clotted cream...!!! Sadly the blue skies and sunshine will be no more.
Will report back next week!
