Well another week has gone by and I certainly can't complain about the beautiful warm weather we have been having - still very much 'flip-flop' weather but with an autumnal twist.
The leaves are beginning to turn and fall but are wonderfully crisp and crunchy due to the amazingly warm, dry spell we are having.
I've reverted back to childhood and can't seem to resist picking up conkers on my daily walk - we have bowls of them dotted around on window ledges. They're supposed to keep spiders at bay - no idea if this is really true but they look pretty anyway.
The garden continues to be gorgeous but there are definite signs that things are changing.
Our pumpkins are ripening up a treat......
....Jeff's pride and joy!
Just hope the slugs keep away from it until Halloween!

wow, you've been lucky, our weather has mostly been glommy and grey all week, and we're only about 20 miles or less from you.
