Well the moment I have been waiting for has arrived!!!!!
Remember back in June of last year when the lovely Holly .....
....and Nicola came to style and photograph my little house?
Well the article is now in print, in no other than
IDEAL HOME MAGAZINE
if I'm honest, I'm beyond excited!
and so to celebrate, I bought not one, not two but 3 copies!!!!
The man in WHSmiths loved me!
It is the most surreal thing ever and to think that my little house made an 8 page spread and is in a major magazine.
Simply WOW!
I keep joking with the children that they are now famous!
Our house is a small Victorian terrace but the photo's do look amazing!
WOW!
What a fabulous start to 2012!
A huge Thank You to Nicola for sending 'that' email that got the ball rolling, for styling the house and for putting together such a great write up and to Holly for the fabulous photo's (except the one of me - diet prompt if ever there was one!)

Have dm'd you Karen on Twitter. A HUGE Thank You for all your lovely comments - have just about stopped smiling - it's very surreal but a fantastic thing to have happened - feel very chuffed!
They are famous. And I am nothing but jealous!!
I've just bought my copy having heard about the article from Gabriella (Moobaacluck). Your house looks so pretty, a real achievement but still a cosy family home. My heart went out to you when I read about the fire. A fairly throw away paragraph at the end of the article which I'm sure covered despair and misery at the time. Exactly the same thing happened to us at the end of our cottage renovation. A handful of sawdust left in the sander bag by the builder spontaneously combusted, and as it was stowed under the stairs with all the other electrical equipment all the cable casings melted and although it had only just started to burn, the entire house was filled with sticky black smoke. Fortunately, the cat and I were at my mother's otherwise I dread to think of the consequences, and we were another 3 and half months before being able to move back.
So here's to happy family homes, despite all that! Congratulations on the feature!
